Last night we did Photowalk Utah in conjunction with Scott Kelby's World Wide PhotoWalk. It was awesome. I always have a blast with my friends from the Utah Photography community. We met at City Creek Park at 7pm. We went to Memory Grove then up to the Utah State Capitol and then back down to the park. It was a lot of fun with everyone. Here are some pictures.
Last night I went on a date and we got slurpee's and watched the sunset and talked. It was a wonderful time with great company and spectacular views. Here are some of the pictures that were taken.
Today I decided to hike up to Lisa Falls up Little Cottonwood Canyon. It is a short and relatively easy hike. On the way I met my hiking buddy seen below.
I am thinking with the number of rattlesnakes that I have seen up hiking this year that it might be the year of the snake. I have lived in Utah most of my life and haven't ever seen this many rattlesnakes in one year. In fact...I may have seen more "rattlers" this year than in my previous 31 years total. The Falls were gorgeous and there are "anchors" to be able to rock climb up the falls. It is a good family hike.
I had the opportunity to shoot my best friend Cameron and his lovely bride Jeannine as they got married Saturday the 17th of July 2010. It was an awesome time. They got married up Big Cottonwood Canyon at his family cabin. The weather was perfect and as you can see. It was an awesome wedding.
Two days ago I had the opportunity to go shoot down at the Provo Creative July 2010 meetup event. It was a blast. I love working with the other photogs and models. Here are some of the pics from that event.
This weekend my roomates, friends and I went camping up Spanish Fork Canyon by Thistle. It was a blast then yesterday morning we took a drive up to Smiths Res. Here are the pictures.
This year for the 4th Celebration I went up Big Cottonwood Canyon here in Utah. My friend Cameron and his Family have a cabin up there. While we were up there, we went to the Parade around the loop by Silver Lake and Brighton Ski Resort. One of the participants in the Parade, Col Madsen, leaned out of his Jeep and said to his wife, "Hello gorgeous, want to go on a date?"
Today I went on a short hike to Rocky Mouth Canyon. It is a small short hike. You park on Wasatch Blvd and 11250 South. I tried finding it the other day and found a different hike. This hike is about 1/3 mile and ends at a spectacular falls. You can go up further if you have climbing equipment. Here are some pictures.
