Provo Creative Meetup May 2010

Yesterday I had the opportunity to go to the Provo Creative meetup. We were going to go to the salt flats, but the weather didn't permit us to really go, so we went to the Wells Fargo parking garage in Provo and we shot there. There weren't too many models and it was cold, but it was also fun!! There was some good talent there. Here are some pictures.

Ty and Kelsey Wedding

Last weekend I had the oportunity to shoot one of my best friends wedding reception. You might remember a few weeks ago I shot their photos for their announcements. It was a wonderful wedding and I was happy to just be there for it. They had the reception at the Salt Lake Hardware building just north of the Gateway mall. Here are some pictures.

Kanab

This past week I spent it in Kanab, Utah. I went trail riding 4-wheelers. We went all over from Hogs Canyon, to by the Old Gunsmoke set, to Grand Staircase Escallante, Etc. We hit everything from sand dunes to some road riding. We even did some hiking to Montezuma's Cave, etc. It was my first time down there and it is gorgeous down there!! The group I went with was the "Darkside Adventures". Some of the trails we went on were Double black diamond with double red diamond with an extreme caution sign and a most dangerous sign. Provo Creative April 2010

Yesterday we had the Provo Creative meetup for April 2010. It was awesome like always. Hats off to Pete the founder and organizer of Provo Creative and the meetups. It was a blast!! We went to the state mental hospital and went to the "Castle Amphitheater". It was a blast!! I wasn't feeling too well due to food poisoning earlier in the day, but I survived and here are some of the pictures. Ty and Kelsey

Yesterday, I also had the opportunity to shoot my best friend Ty and his fiancee Kelsey's invitation pictures. It was a wonderful experience. Their personalities came out in the pictures. Here are a sample of the pics.

Trash and Paint the dress

Yesterday I had a real treat!! I went with some friends Erin, Jenny, and Cam out to the Great Salt Lake. I got up at 5am and headed to my studio and met up with them and we headed out. When we pulled up to the Lake, my thermometer said it was 30 degrees out and I checked my phone....brrrr... It was cold. Got every thing setup and the girls changed into their dresses and we had a trash the dress session in the lake. When we decided to the trash the dress shoot, we decided to do a JCE Photography version of "Paint the Dress"! It was a blast. We pulled out some paintball guns (one made by Tipman and one by Planet Eclipse) and Cam in his suit was the one that got to shoot the girls with paintballs. It was a blast and hilarious!!! They were cold and jumping around. Here are some pictures.
